Privacy
Privacy should be simple.
No Shame in Asking is run by Martyn Chadderton, who is responsible for the personal information collected through this site.
What we collect
If you register your interest, we collect your name, email address, optional organisation and the reason you are interested.
How we use it
We use those details only to contact you about No Shame in Asking. We rely on the consent you give when submitting the form, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists or sell your information.
Where it goes
Your submission is processed on our Vultr-hosted server and sent to a mailbox hosted by Zoho Mail. The website does not keep a separate database of form submissions.
To prevent abuse, the form temporarily keeps a one-way identifier for the submitting connection and submission times. These records do not contain the form answers and are removed after no more than 24 hours.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence while it is needed to respond or while you remain involved with the project. We review inactive records after 12 months and delete anything we no longer need.
Your choices
You can withdraw your consent or ask to see, correct or delete your details by emailing privacy@noshameinasking.com. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies.
